Whiskey Sour

serves 2

ingredients:

  • 120ml irish whiskey (jameson)
  • 80ml lime juice
  • 80ml simple syrup
  • 1 egg white

to serve:

  • ice
  • angostura bitters
  • 2 rocks glasses

directions:

  1. dry shake the whiskey, lime juice, syrup and egg white without ice to froth the egg white.

  2. add ice and shake hard until the shaker is frosty.

  3. strain over fresh ice and dot the foam with a few drops of bitters.
